The School Completion Programme (SCP) is a school retention initiative which is part of the Education Welfare Services of the New Child and Family Agency TUSLA. Tullow Area SCP was established in February 2003.
The Aim is to increase the numbers of young people staying in primary and second level. The Programme works closely with all the relevant local agencies, local communities, young people and their families to develop strategies to improve Attendance, Participation and Retention in participating schools. Tullow Area SCP supports eight local schools.
