Safer Internet Day 2021

Safer Internet Day 2021 is just around the corner on Tuesday, February 9th and Tullow SCP is holding a poster competition in conjunction with local schools on raising awareness about online safety and wellbeing.

Safer Internet Day (SID) is an EU wide initiative to promote a safer internet for all users, especially young people. Each year, schools and organisations from around Ireland highlight what they are doing to mark Safer Internet Day on http://www.webwise.ie/saferinternetday/safer-internet-day-events-in-ireland

Webwise is an internet safety initiative focused on raising awareness of online safety issues and good practice among students, their parents and teachers. Webwise provides a range of free primary and secondary school teaching resources addressing a range of topics including cyberbullying, image-sharing, social media and more.
